Die Cast Inspector
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for inspecting parts per visual casting inspection work standards.
Essential Job Duties:
Conduct visual quality checks per standard work instructions.
Complete gauge checks.
Manage shot blast machine.
Complete required paperwork.
Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines.
Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Constantly position self to run/maintain die cast machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling).
Maintain 5S of multiple die cast machines.
Withstand extreme temperatures (hot in summer, cold in winter).
Ability to read and write the English language.
Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times.
Ability to work varying shifts and overtime.
Die Cast Operator
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for the operation of one or more automatic multiple-mold casting
machines to mold aluminum automotive parts.
Essential Job Duties:
Operate one or more casting machines.
Set controls, make machine adjustments, and align mold
halves to ensure casting of part according to specified thickness.
Adjust follow of lead to ladles and water to mold-cooling sprays.
Assist or perform machine set ups and tool changes.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance checks.
Assist in changing or setting molds.
Complete required paperwork.
Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between
lines.
Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Constantly position self to run/maintain die cast machinery (stooping,

Maintain 5S of multiple die cast machines.

Die Cast Furnace Loader
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for loading aluminum ingot and
scrap aluminum into multiple furnaces while maintaining the controls to consistently melt aluminum according to set
standards.
Essential Job Duties:
Load aluminum ingot and scrap aluminum into multiple furnaces per set standards.
Coat ladles with compound to prevent sticking.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance checks.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance checks.
Complete required paperwork.
Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between
lines.
Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.

Machining Inspector-Operator
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of machining tools to perform repetitive
machining operations.
Essential Job Duties:
The set-up and operation of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations.
Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between
lines.
Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Constantly position self to run/maintain machinery (stooping,
bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling).
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Ability to read and write the English language.
Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in
proper manner at all times.
Must have specific vision abilities to include: close vision, distance vision,
depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work varying shifts and overtime.
Material Handling Associate
The Material Handler supports production operations by providing needed transport and conveyance of goods and materials
within the plant. Material Handler also supports Shipping and Receiving department as needed.
Essential Job Duties:
Operate forklift, tugger, and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Use forklift, tugger, pallet jack, and other equipment to convey materials to/from storage locations to/from area of
use.
Loads and unloads materials onto and from pallets and conveyors by hand.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs continually throughout the day. Knows how to lift safely and properly.
Supply parts and empty boxes needed by production lines.
Carry away finished parts and empty boxes generated by production
lines.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift and tugger equipment.
Understand and practice the principle of “First-in, First-out” (FIFO) in
rotating and keeping stock.
Understand and follow the Kanban system by removing/inserting
Kanban cards from/in each tote moved.
Help Shipping and Receiving prepare parts for shipment.
Safely and cleanly dispose of bins full of machining chips, casting
scrap, etc.
Recognize and remember many different parts and their names.
Inform supervisor when something abnormal is detected.
Follow standard work instructions and other verbal instructions.
Keep work and stock areas clean, neat, and organized (5S).
Look for ways to improve continually.
Other duties as required.
